The Institute of Business Travel Management (IBTM) is the education and research foundation of the National Business Travel Association.  The National Business Travel Association created the IBTM to provide on-going financial resources, and to conduct research initiatives beneficial to the entire business travel industry.

 

he NBTA Foundation will award scholarships to 47 industry professionals.

There are 3 main types of scholarships available:

 

·        Certified Corporate Travel Executive Program, or CCTE

°         The only professional certification program available in the business travel industry

 

·        The Global Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business

°         The only Master’s level courses for professional in the business travel industry

 

·        Independent Studies Program Scholarship

°         A flexible grant which allows the recipient to determine where to apply the funds.

°         Can be used toward a master’s program, certificate program, or courses external to NBTA that are delivered by an accredited institution or organization.

 

Scholarships will be awarded at the NBTA Annual Convention and Exibition in Los Angeles. 

 

Being a scholarship recipient is an excellent way to enhance your professional development, it benefits the recipients as well as the companies they work for.  It also enhances the dynamics of our local chapter.
