Communications Committee

Goal:  To ensure all avenues of communication to the membership and community are clear, concise and reflect a high level of professionalism.

Tools:  PSBTA website, press releases and partnership with Quinn/Brein, meeting announcements, event calendar, local media.

Work closely with:  President, Treasurer, Membership, and Programs.

Subcommittees:

RSVP:

  • Develop RSVP list for all meetings.
  • Provide name tags for meeting attendees.
  • Collect the form of payment from members who do not use a credit card.
  • Provide receipts for meeting attendees.
  • Report meeting attendance numbers to the board.

Public Relations:

  • Advance the reputation of PSBTA as a community resource and organization of subject matter experts through regular press releases.

Website:

  • Act as liason with website hosting company.
  • Assist committee members with uploading content to the website.

Nominations:

  • Solicit nominees and manage the nomination process for:  Election of PSBTA officers, Most Valuable Member, The Business Professional Service Award, NBTA/CPC Scholarship Awards, IBTM Scholarships.
