Mission Statement 
The PSBTA Green Team will serve to improve the awareness of community and environmental best practices as it pertains to the business travel industry, professional communities and personal lives.

Volunteer Activity-Thursday, May 2 & Thursday, May 9, 2012
Pike Market Food Bank needs our help handing out cans of food.  Volunteer opportunities are available from 9:30-11:30am and/or 11:30-1:30pm each day.  Let's show our community that PSBTA really cares while we enjoy quality time with our colleagues.  Please sign up for this PSBTA Event!

April 17 PSBTA Meeting - Responsible, Sustainable Travel -Survey Results (1-5)
1.      Sustainability as part of the company/organization’s mission: 3.7 or 74%
2.      Rewards and recognition of employee efforts toward sustainability goals: 3.0 or 61% (lowest score)
3.       Measurement of progress toward sustainability and sharing of results: 3.4 or 68%
4.   Workplace recycling of paper, glass, metals, packaging and other materials: 4.6 or 93% (highest score)
5.       Conservation of water, such as low-flow plumbing fixtures and native-plant landscaping: 4.1 or 81%
6.       Waste reduction, such as composting, reuse of materials, and minimal packaging: 3.9 or 78%
7.       Efforts to use non-toxic, natural materials: 3.7 or 75%
8.       Support for travel alternatives such as public transit, carpools, telecommuting, walking and bicycling: 3.8 or 75%
9.      Workplace practice of energy conservation, such as turning off unused equipment and use of compact- fluorescent/LED bulbs and high efficiency appliances:  4.0 or 80%
10.  Company/organization’s practice of buying local for materials, food, etc: 3.1 or 63%
