Suzanne Fletcher, Executive Director of Washington Tourism Alliance will present the current information on this organization, how it affects the travel industry and your company, and the future strategies of Washington’s Tourism initiatives.  

 

Washington Tourism Alliance became the state's official tourism marketing organization on July 1, 2011 after the closure of the Washington State Tourism Office.

Suzanne Fletcher is a 30-year travel- and tourism-industry veteran with a wide range of corporate and association leadership. She was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 25 most influential women in the travel industry for 2008, and one of the most influential in the corporate travel industry in 2007 by Business Travel News.  She was recently recognized by Puget Sound Business Journal as one of 2011’s Newsmaker.

The Puget Sound Business Travel Association (PSBTA) is the collective voice of business travel management in Western Washington. We provide a forum for the constructive exchange of information, education, and ideas among members. We are dedicated to enhancing the educational and professional advancement of the travel industry and our members.

Our Membership... PSBTA members include 231 Washington business leaders who are responsible for supplying and purchasing travel related services. The annual travel expenditure of these companies exceeds $1.5 billion dollars. Direct members procure or manage business travel services for their corporation. Allied members provide travel services or products to direct members. 
 


PSBTA is an official chapter of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), whose members represent corporate travel and meetings executives, major corporations and travel suppliers throughout the world.

PSBTA along with the global organization provides our members with information on travel and meetings technology, services, legislation, security, benchmarking and costs that affect the business travel and meetings industry.
